Objective of the document:
Review and establish the conditions that exempt the frits with Pb-Zn-Ba-content, based either on its chemical composition, on experimental data, or on other appropriate supporting information, from the obligation to register in the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) under Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) as regards Annexes IV and V. The amended Annexes IV and V specify the exemptions from the obligations to register chemicals in the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) following comitology procedures for the revision of the Annexes in REACH, especially the new paragraph 11 of the Annex V.
